- Description: Perennial plant with strong tuberculous rhizome from which grows the scaly stem with the raceme of small pink flowers. The big cordate leaves are developing after blossoming.

in banks at humid lowland locations and
mountainous regions also. Flowering from March

- Interesting facts: In the past the butterbur was
used to cure and repudiate pest.
